An Introduction to the Bandhas

The ego lives in the body. As long as the body is flexible, the ego won’t have too much power. Pranayama is a powerful way to slow down and detach from the madness of our ego reactions. In this lecture, Rodo walks us through the importance of working with the bandhas in order to strengthen this sense of detachment, as well as how and why we practice the three signature Alchemy breaths: balance, yang and heart.
